I am so pleased that a song came to me on New Year's Eve/Day again!

I am not sure that it is as good as my other "New Year Songs" or as the last two in December 2015. This is the "first draft" and I misread my own lyrics:

"With those we loved and those we lost, for those we really cared" should be:

"With those we loved and those we lost, for whom we truly cared"

I think that it would be improved by adding a Cuatro being picked.

{c:INTRO:}
[Am] [Amadd9] [D6sus2] [G]

{c:VERSE 1:}
It’s [G]people you remember, not [F]triumphs or [G]things
The [G]light in someone’s eyes, not the [F]sparkle of a [G]ring
A [D]laugh heard at a distance, a [F]smile so very [G]close
You can [D]see the wrinkles crinkle be[F]tween the lips and [G]nose.

{soc}
{c:CHORUS:}
[Dm]Actions and omissions, they [C]give us pause for [G]thought
But the [D]memory of your hand in mine [C]brings my breath up [G]short.
[Am] [Amadd9] [D6sus2] [G]
{eoc}

{c:VERSE 2:}
It’s [G]feelings you remember, of [F]joy and loss and [G]bliss,
The [G]grazing of a knee, the [F]softness of a [G]kiss,
The [D]last dance of the evening, light [F]hand around your [G]waist
[D]Shoes that pinched and you recall winged [F]blistered heels of [G]grace.

{soc}
{c:CHORUS:}
[Dm]Actions and omissions, they [C]give us pause for [G]thought
But the [D]memory of your hand in mine [C]brings my breath up [G]short.
{eoc}

{c:BRIDGE:}
The [Am]here and now is [F]evermore, it is not [Am]past and [G]gone
The [F]future is a place we go in [Dm]dreams of what’s to [Am]come
The [Am]time we have is [F]fleeting, so we weave it’s [Am]colours [G]fast
To[F]morrow’s nearly here and to[Dm]day is almost [Am]past.
[Amadd9] [D6sus2] [G]
{np}
{c:VERSE 3:}
The [G]memories we treasure most are [F]those that we have [G]shared
With [G]those we loved and those we lost, for [F]whom we truly [G]cared
With [D]those whose hearts beat time with ours for [F]seconds, hours or [G]years
[D]Those who shared our hopes and dreams and [F]helped us brave our [G]fears.

{soc}
{c:REPEAT CHORUS:}

{eoc}

{c:BRIDGE:}

{soc}
{c:REPEAT CHORUS:}

{eoc}

{c:OUTRO:}
I [Am]remember, I [Amadd9]remember, take my [D6sus2]hand, let’s walk a[G]gain,
Let’s [Am]walk away, Take my [Amadd9]hand and I’ll re[D6sus2]member . . . a[G]gain.
