It's unlikely you'll ever hear these words, but
you should look at what you have.
That stone cold warmth, that wide eyed stare,
the way nothing seems to (break/change).
I know that it's only been 22 months now,
but that's a lifetime and a half,
so if the ice melts, and [if] you fall through,
fall back on those things you had.
And I know that their eyes all shine right at you,
know that it's a gentle gaze,
and when their sights turn red, and burn into your skull,
just know that you're not to blame.
And when your world burns up and turns to hell,
I can promise that those fires won't last,
and when you need it most someone will bury you in snow,
so hold yourself
to the ground where you stand.
Don't let the world collapse on you,
take heed and wait out the storm.
And my words get out of place
but those feelings that you have I share the same,
and though it tears my world up, and pray you find your way,
you're a million miles away from here.
And when your mind gets set aflame, you'll see
how long it takes (before you break/to bend and break), I cry
for how long you will remain in light(?).
But please don't fall apart, and give the wolves(?) that scent of fear,
they've gathered here today to see you hung from your own tree.
If the demon stays alive the damned will fall before it's grace,
But if you can survive, oh god if you can stay alive,
they won't hurt you anymore.
You won't need me anymore.
We won't be us anymore.
Wouldn't that be beautiful?
