A few months back, I tried recreating the vocoders from Daft Punks Beyond. And it honestly didn't sound that great. So I decided to try again! Turns out using a dynamic microphone over a condenser makes a noticeable difference in the sound. I also learned a few new things on how Mick Guzausk mixed the vocoders. I might make a tutorial on how to achieve this sound sometime :)
