Chords (8-chord cycle):
C Major (C, E, G) - "Nice"
C Augmented (C, E, G#) - "Tense"
F Major (F, A, C) (with C on the bottom) - "Nice"
G Diminished (G, A#, C#) "Tense"
G Major (G, B, D) "Nice"
G Major (G, B, D) "Nice"
G Dominant "7" (G, B, D, F) "Tense"
C Major (C, E, G) "Nice"
*** The Dominant 7 chord that is five spaces below the first chord is often used as the last chord before repeating. Dominant 7 chords are a major chord with an additional note three spaces above the top note of the triad (so the pattern for them is 4 + 3 +3). You can ALWAYS just use a normal major chord instead for the same role.
