Loco W945 starts its train out of Pinjarra station en route for Pemberton on 23 April. W945, named "Banksiadale" by the Hotham Valley Tourist Railway, was originally placed in service with the Western Australian Government Railways. Built by Beyer, Peacock the 4-8-2 was one of a class of 60 light line and general purpose locomotives introduced in 1951/52.
