Medicare is a national health insurance program . Originally it has two parts A, B. Each having different specification,advantages and rates. A is for hospital coverage, B is coverage for doctors. Later on other parts were added such as C , which is Medicare advantage (Mapd medicare) , D which is for Prescription drug coverage and so on.
