So, it's come down to Dipshit Charbonnet and Latoya Can't-do-anything-well. At this point, why does Louisiana need the terrible two parties anymore? Come on, the Democrats and the Republicans in this state are so similar that it isn't even funny. For example, Mary Landrieu and David Vitter both voted for the Wall Street Bailouts, the Iraq War, the Patriot Act, the Drug War, and so on and so forth. Anti-abortionist see no problem with drowning younger generations and those who haven't been born into debt (the wars they backed, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.), sending us to die overseas, and throwing people in jail for non-procreative sex and drug use. Walter Reed and Leon A. Cannizzaro, Jr. lie as much as Al Gore, Steven Camarota, Andrew Wakefield, Julie Bindel, Melissa Farley, and Jim Kelly. How the fuck are those who want to "clean" up Bourban Street any different from Tony Perkins, Jeff Crouere, and those Duck Dynasty morons? Here's a hint: Very little. Seriously, why even need city hall, the sheriff's office, and the DA's office considering the corruption and deceit? And don't give any infantile "Who will pay for the roads" bullshit either. I say not another dollar to corrupt sheriffs (Jerry Larpenter, Jack Strain, Marlin Gusman, and Lester Millet), prosecutors (Hugo Holland, Walter Reed, and Harry Connick, Sr), etc. who use that money to keep themselves in power; lie to keep drugs, prostitution, and sodomy illegal (those who defend those insane and insipid bans should be openly mocked and forever discredited, just like Edwin Edwards apologists); lie in order to keep the state's prison population artificially high; and get away with that shit without any fear of reprisal. Not another vote to politicians who want to criminalize, tax, regulate, and restrict everything, while at the same time, getting away with all kinds of hypocrisies. (Lance Harris, Rusty Hardy, Troy Carter, Edwin Edwards, Kathleen Blanco, Mike Foster II, Bobby Jindal, and Cleo Fields.) And fuck Jeff Crouere and Lamar White, Jr. They're nothing but a bunch of oblivious, ignorant, partisan hacks. (See also Crooks & Liars and Breitbart.*) This is all for this edition of Things I'd Like to Say. *To Breitbart's credit, they did bring up Edwin Edwards' scandals, as well as environmentalist hypocrisies and deceit. Still crap, though.
