this song is inspired by something on my planet called dare trails
since the world is divided into layers, there are these HUGE spires that help keep the different levels from collapsing. they contain giant elevators and tube/wiring systems to transport inhabitants, food, energy and whatever else the different levels require
but the different levels can only be accessed via the hellevators by licensed individuals... unless you take the dare trails. the dare trails are ridiculously long obstacle courses that spiral around the spires, far up into the ceiling and into the next circle of the planet. they're designed to test those who wish to pass further into the planet's depths and become closer to the core of the planet which all extra-dimensional energy is derived from
