I made this song with multiple piano VSTs in FL Studio 12 each linked to separate mixers that are sidechained to each other.
I have used the G Major scale to make a heroic and rallying song, where I imagined a war between 2 countries and this song is used to raise morale before a crucial battle that leads to a victory in the war. This mood is made because of the major scale I chose and how I used the resting notes.
I created a basic motif that stays around the upper octaves of a traditional piano that creates the triumphant and up-lifting effect because of the pauses consistently landing on a resting note. There is also a chord progression, a small broken chord progression in the background to make the main chord progression more interesting and an arpeggiating pattern that complements the melody.
